Nineteen-year-old American Simone Biles (@シモーネ・バイルズ) has become one of the most decorated gymnasts in history by flying through the air, but on the brink of her first Olympics qualification, she’s doing her best to stay grounded. “I’m trying not to get ahead of myself,” she says. “I’m super excited to see what the village looks like and to experience the whole Olympic process — if I’m lucky enough!” Despite her modesty, Simone has dominated the gymnastics scene the past three years, becoming the first-ever female gymnast to win three world championships in a row. Outside of an intense training regimen, she credits her positive attitude to her success. “I try to just be an overall positive person and have confidence in everything I do, inside and outside of the gym.”
