I had no plan for the feathers and the flowers , other than let them be what they wanted to be. I Don't think I showed the finished details in the headdress , you can see how loose the under painting is and the black detail on top turn the gestural shapes below into the flowers and feathers. Also if you look close you can see just how loose and full of movement the under painting is here.
