Dennis Hopper. Taos,New Mexico. We wanted to do a story with Mr. Hopper over many pages but he was resistant to the idea of changing clothes 5 or so times throughout the day so we just loaded him up with clothes and then slowly stripped them off as the day went along. "Hey Dennis, why don't you lose the jacket?"..."Dennis,take off those gloves"..."is the sun bothering you? Here;put on these beautiful sunglasses". So we got what we wanted. Such an honor to spend a day with Mr Hopper,an actor I grew up loving, shortly before his passing. A true outlaw in the greatest sense of the word. Rebel without a cause,Giant, The Trip,Cool Hand Luke,easy rider,true grit,Apocalypse Now,Rumble Fish, Blue Velvet,Rivers Edge, ,Colors,Hoosiers,The indian Runner, Red Rock West,True Romance, Speed,Basquiat. Quite a career.
