#Mudcrutch, #TomPetty’s pre-#Heartbreakers band, is on its first American tour 45 years after its formation. “I keep waiting for somebody to tap me on the shoulder and go, ‘Uh, Tom, this is a dream and it’s time to walk up,’” 64-year-old guitarist #TomLeadon says. “What a wonderful turn of events this is.” The band features Petty on bass and fellow Heartbreakers #MikeCampbell and #BenmontTench on guitar and keyboards, respectively – along with Leadon and drummer #RandallMarsh, who spent his post-Mudcrutch years playing in various bands, including Campbell’s side project the Blue Stingrays.
