表参道店で取り扱いの革小物から本日は「PORTER WISE」をご紹介いたします。
トラベルからデイリーユースまで使える、使い勝手の良さを追求した馬革の小物シリーズです。
ヨーロッパ各地で集められた原皮を、国内では数少ない馬革を専門に取り扱うタンナーで仕上げました。
通常では仕上げで用いるオイルを、染色の際に一緒に入れてドラム内で革に浸透させています。
こうして出来た革の表面に摩擦加工を施すことですべすべとした、とても柔らかな風合いが生まれます。微妙な色合いのムラが表情をより豊かにし、同じように見えてもひとつひとつ異なるのが特徴です。また、オイルを染み込ませているため、使うほどに味わい深い経年変化を楽しめます。
長札と二つ折りウォレットの2型は従来のラウンド式ウォレットとは違った新たな提案として、口開きが良く中身の確認がしやすいボックス型の小銭入れを採用し、小銭の出し入れをスムーズにしました。

Today we would like to introduce the "PORTER WISE" series from the small leather accessories we carry at the Omotesando store.
It is a series in horse leather that was created to pursue usefulness. It could be used both travel and daily use.
The hides used for this series were gathered from various countries in Europe, and tanned at a tanner specialized in horse leather which is a very rare type of tanner in Japan.
An oil that is usually used at the last finish is put inside the drum when dyeing the leather, so it will soak into the leather.
Then this leather is polished to create the smooth and soft texture. You could see some irregularity in shades of the color, and each and every one of them are slightly different. Moreover, you are able to enjoy the natural aging process upon usage since oil is soaked into the leather.
The long wallet and the bi-fold wallet are different from our normal round zip wallet. It applies a box type coin pocket so you could take out your coins without any stress.
