This photo is of Sarah and me at a Hipline class (one of my favorite dance studios in the Bay area!). Think of being at a dance club with all of your girlfriends, disco lights and all, and no boys allowed. In this photo, I didn’t feel the need to use food to fill a void, and I wasn’t worried about what the number on the scale said that morning. Why? Because I was having FUN and felt connected to my body. The way I felt in that photo (strong, confident, and joyful!), was also a great reminder that…THE NUMBERS ON THE SCALE DO NOT DEFINE YOU!
