Progress. #Bulgaria has just hosted its first FIFA #LiveYourGoals festival, for 70 girls aged 5-12.
The grassroots programme is funded by FIFA and is available to all 211 member associations. More than 70 globally have signed up, with FIFA allocating kit, equipment, marketing materials and funding to cover the costs of organising the festivals.
As well as organising more festivals for girls in 2016, the Federation has agreed with the Ministry of Youth & Sport, that all school teams playing 6-a-side games, must now include at least two girls per team.
