Monday Inspiration: Perfect for the Manhattanite with vertigo, L.A based Japanese artist Yutaka Sone’s ‘Little Manhattan’ sculpture recreates a bird’s eye view of the island in finely carved marble. Painstakingly recreated from trips in helicopters, Google Earth and aerial photographs, it weighs in at two-and-a-half tons, and measures 9 feet in length. Carved in stone, this artistic panorama represents New York circa 2007.
