A retrospective of @brucedavidsonphoto opens at the Fundacion MAPFR @mapfrefcultura in #Barcelona today.
This exhibition presents a survey of Davidson’s career, which spans more than 60 years. It focuses on some of the artist’s best-known series, including ‘Brooklyn Gang’ and ‘East 100th Street’ and photographs from the Civil Rights movement. Davidson’s unique style of documentary photography and his interest in the struggles and triumphs of different groups allows for a unique perspective on life in the United States.
