Never let anyone stop you because you're "too young or old." Heart has no age & your dreams have no limit...when I was 15 years old, I walked straight up to Lionel Hampton, one of the most prominent bandleaders of the time, & showed him my composition of "The Four Winds Suite." At that moment he invited me to join his orchestra & thereafter, his belief in me led to many open doors for my music to go through.
