The vet is as confused as us. She has no idea how the wound could come back.
The important thing is to look for (I have no idea if I'm using the correct english word) pockets. If the "pocket" goes up its OK. But if the "pocket" goes down, it's bad. Because the pus goes DOWN in the pockets.
And of course he had a 1,5 cm long pocket straight down. And one out towards his eye.

Normally she would prefer to put a drain on him. But that means anesthetic. And his kidneys are NOT in shape for anesthetic. So we are gonna give it a try to do it by ourself at home. To really CLEAN it for 14 days several times a day. The reason we can do it is because he is so sweet and calm. And he let us do anything.
The vet could do things to him she normally can't without anesthetic. He just sits there. He is such a sweetheart.

If it not works out, we don't have another option than surgery.
He's on antibiotics now. And they gave him fluids.
He is not himself. So sleepy. Too tired to eat, so we help him with that. He's been through so much. I love him so much. He's my idol.
