A few days ago we posted Diesel. After spending his whole life (4.5 years) with his family, they moved and could not take him with them, so this poor boy ended up at a shelter. He was completely freaked out and anxious, and we wanted to get him out as soon as possible Diesel is now in a very temporary foster home in Queens, and what we have discovered is that he was so sheltered his entire life that even Queens is too much hustle and bustle for him. This boy needs a foster home outside of the city, ideally on a quiet street and even better would be with a yard. Diesel has lived with dogs, cats, and children, and he is 200% housetrained. He knows sit, stay, down, paw, and "go to your crate." He doesn't bark in the crate, and we didn't hear a peep from him overnight. We would love to see him go to a home with another calm dog who can help show him the ropes. Can anyone step up to foster this sweet boy?
