Long after we are all gone our tools that we leave behind will tell our story. How we worked, what we made, and the way we made it. I believe that tools when brand new they are just an Artists blank white canvas. Every scratch and Nick and mar are like strokes from the artists brush. A masterpiece created with patina and sweat. Used tools if selected carefully have a built in soul that will be transferred to your work. Choose tools that can be repaired to guarantee generations of use. Make sure you don't miss use your tools. Honor them by doing the best possible work you can with them.
