This is an example of one of the first ever #PaulSmith shopping bags, here’s the story of how they came about: “The idea of this logo came about from the top of a cigarette box that I found in a street market in Nottingham. As you can see there was no handwritten logo back then, it was just a very modern font with an art deco logo. With the help of one of my friends we silk screen printed the logo onto stock bags. The joy of the bags was the fact that every one was individual because they were all hand screen printed, some of them not very well in fact, but in a way that was the beauty of them.” @Paul_Smith
