This is one of Frans Lanting's most famous images, which he made for National Geographic Magazine at a time that this incredible wildlife viewing spot was barely known. Frans and his wife and partner, Chris Eckstrom, met and fell in love long ago while he was on his two year Okavango Delta project where he made this unforgettable photograph.

They will be coming to Charlottesville, Virginia for @look3festival June 13-19 where Frans will exhibit his images in the TREES that line the downtown pedestrian mall and he will give a public talk at the beautiful Paramount Theater on the evening of June 15th. -----> continue learning about LOOK3 @michaelnicknichols
