This might have been one of the last pictures taken of me before my spinal cord injury. I love thinking back to how that felt... My hips, knees, ankles and feet beneath me and the ease that came with putting one foot in front of the other...Even with as much fun as I've been having in and out of my wheelchair and all the amazing opportunities I've had since my spinal cord injury, I'd still love to walk again someday. Most of all, I would love to make spinal cord injuries a thing of the past for the future generations. With your help, we could all move closer to that reality. On May 8th the @wflworldrun will kick off in Austria and everyone around the world will be "running for those who can't" ... 100% of proceeds will go towards spinal cord injury research and the possibility of finding a cure!
