This panel affected me the most of what I saw today. Was profoundly disturbed by hearing about the racism in Canadian police departments that leads the investigations into missing or killed indigenous people to be completely dismissed. With testimony on the panel of family members of women that have been killed of the complete dismissals by the police instead of doing the necessary investigations. Carolyn Bennett who is now the Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs speaks. And Lorimer Shenher, former Vancouver detective confirms the pervasive racist attitudes of the police depts. #indigenouslivesmatter
