「響」は、誕生27周年を迎えました。 「響」が生まれたのは、1989年4月3日。サントリーが創業90年目を迎える春のことでした。
そのころ貯蔵庫では、数多くの原酒が熟成を深め、個性豊かな香味が輝きを放ちはじめていました。サントリーの最高峰と呼ぶにふさわしいブレンデッドウイスキーをつくる準備が整ったのです。
それまでつくり手たちが培ってきた技や知恵を結集し、日本のウイスキーならではの珠玉の香味を追い求め、ついに完成したのが「響」でした。
それから27年。今では日本のみならず、世界中にそのハーモニーが届きはじめています。
継承と革新を繰り返す、挑戦の日々に終わりはありません。これからも「響」への変わらぬご愛顧を、よろしくお願いいたします。
Hibiki was born on April 3rd, 1989, to commemorate Suntory's 90th anniversary.
At the time, Suntory was developing numerous whiskies to bring out their richly individual flavors. It was preparing to create Suntory's supreme achievement in blended whisky.
Drawing on long-cultivated craftsmanship and knowledge, the result of these efforts was Hibiki: the paragon of the art of Japanese whisky.
27 years on, Hibiki continues Suntory's ongoing cycle of innovation and heritage, delivering the elegant taste of Japanese harmony across the world.
