Can you name #5womenartists? In honor of the last day of #WomensHistoryMonth here is “Sirens’ Song” by artist Yael Bartana, currently on view @フィラデルフィア美術館. In this work, Bartana instills a traditional military march song with classical mythology, in Greek mythology a siren is a sea creature that lured seamen to their death with their beautiful songs.
