House of the Day: Ramkrishna House by Charles Correa

Selected by our Founding Director Albert Hill.

Albert is one of the two Founding Directors of The Modern House.

An Art History graduate, he came up with the idea for The Modern House and founded the company in 2005 as a way of pursuing his passion for the crossover between architecture and commerce. Albert is primarily responsible for our activities outside of London, carrying out market appraisals of extraordinary properties in all corners of the country.

Albert was the Design Editor at Wallpaper* under founding editor Tyler Brûlé, and has written for The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, amongst other publications. As well as being perhaps the biggest champion of Postmodern architecture in our office, he also has a particular fondness for converted agricultural buildings.
