Happy Easter to the all Christian world. I'm not religious, but I grew up surrounded by Cristian grandma on my dad's side and Muslim grandma on my mom's side. So growing up we celebrated both holidays.
I'm excited to share bits of the recent book that I illustrated, it's called "Stories from the Bible". I'm dedicating it to my grandma Lilia, who was the queen of Easter, baked amazing Easter bread "kulichi" and painted Easter eggs.
The book is publishing by Frances Lincoln Children's Books and scheduled to be released on September 1st 2016. It contains over 50 original illustrations, painted using gouache on paper. Stay tuned, I'll post more about it closer to September.
