311 Oxford St

Today is the opening day of Uniqlo's newest flagship store located at 311 Oxford St in London. This was one of my first projects in 2015 after joining as President of Global Creative for Fast Retailing. This was also my first project
working with long time friend, Masamichi Katayama, the superstar designer and architect of Wonderwall.
The top two floors, shown here, Uniqlo Wearhouse London, with its own separate entrance and private elevator is a dramatic contrast to the floors below.

This is one of several major architecture projects I am involved in.
The opportunity to work in all creative mediums, from architecture to industrial design and fashion, to brand communications and innovative digital platforms, is what makes my day so exhilarating.

Being global has never been more local.
