Learning to cut and staple an intestine (actually a plastic tube) using a powered surgical stapler. This was in a hands-on laparoscopy (key-hole surgery) workshop for doctors. I was visiting the SingHealth Procedural Skills Lab in the Academia building at the Singapore General Hospital campus.
It was not easy to manoeuvre the stapler by looking at the monitor, surrounded by experienced doctors and surgeons-in-training!
