#ThrowbackThursday Guess I've always liked to wear minimal clothing 😂 But in all seriousness, this picture is very special to me. For those of you who follow me but don't know, I have not seen my immediate family (my mother, my father, my two sisters and my brother) for over 8 years. If you're more interested, I wrote a personal memoir which actually hit the NYT BestSellers list for Ebooks within weeks of being published in 2013 (Banished: Surviving My Years in WBC). I was kicked out of my house when I was 21 and not allowed to return, not even to visit. I don't have many photos of my family or childhood as a result. I recently visited my extended family in Florida (where I was born), and came across some old photos of myself. I had forgot what I looked like as a baby and as a child. Respect your family, your photos and your memories! They truly are life's treasures! Never envy someone else's life. You have no idea what struggle they have gone through or are going through. The gym is my therapy and gets me through a lot of tough times but I still love my family dearly and miss them with all of my heart.
