I got this question yesterday in my Instagram DM's.... I ready to do some new TV. I have spent the last 6 years updating and honing my skills. I feel like mentally and physically I'm at my peak. I feel I am more than ready to kick some ass! The problem is I do not think Cable Networks are in a place where they want to do a show that is solid and teaches people stuff. I think most network producers are afraid to take a chance and step out of the fake/staged "Reality" type of shows they all have going on. Network programming is a Monkey See Monkey Do game. I also think my bad attitude and my unwillingness to do fake phony stuff has turned off a lot of these network people. Case in point I did the American Craftsman pilot for History Channel. They saw it and asked if I could have an apprentice on the show that I could "yell at all the time". Obviously the answer was No. Like everything I attach myself to, Quality has to be First! So until a Network wants to take a chance again like Clark Bunting did with me in 1999 at Discovery. I'm just going to be just fine building Weapons, bikes, cars in my shop here in Austin Texas. The good news is these fake shows are starting to die in ratings and ad sales dollars. I know I bring both of these things to the table in a Big way. Maybe that's why Thom Beers and David Zaslav have been popping up on my phone lately.....#jessejames
