That's the caption from this person who posted this appalling video. ???We sadly live in a country where many veterinarians, "doctors" ,who took an oath to heal and help animals, do this mutilating procedure on cats? and they care so little about cats that they send them home still sedated with irresponsible and cruel owners like these.
Please ask your vet to STOP declawing cats!
We sadly live in a country where people laugh at cats like these, who are coming out of a horrific surgery where their toe bones were amputated and many have been given no pain meds.
Not only are these cats in pain, but they are most likely coming off a sedation drug called ketamine that terrifies them. ?
Please go to the @pawproject and the link on their bio and support the bill in New York to end this inhumane thing.
Please share this video and ask your friends, family, and coworkers to join us in this important cause.
Shame on any veterinarian or cat owner that does this to a cat. There is never an excuse for it. Ever. Period.
Too many cats are suffering this way behind the scenes and it needs to end. NOW!
