We want to introduce our new friend @papersmithco! She makes the most epic wooden pieces.
Recently we asked @papersmithco why she is a maker: I've always been a creative person. Being a maker, I feel like I’ve been able to share my creative endeavors with others and inspire people to make things as well. Making and creating is a way for me to design, paint, share ideas and bring awareness of building a more eco-friendly society. After a year of working in a wood shop and learning all of the tools and techniques, I also had a hands-on experience on the amount of wood that is found unusable and ends up getting thrown away. It became a fun hobby for me to figure out what to do with the leftover wood. Rather than throwing it away, I’d be making little boxes and planters and it just kind of grew from there. #livefolk #liveauthentic #maker #americanmade @papersmithco
