Astronaut Scott Kelly is back from his yearlong mission aboard the International Space Station, but the science continues. Ask the experts behind the mission’s research anything during a Reddit AMA on Friday, March 4 at 11 a.m. EST.
Participants include NASA’s chief scientist for the International Space Station, the chief scientist for NASA’s human research program, the nutritional biochemistry laboratory manager for NASA’s human research program, a NASA flight surgeon and a strength and conditioning coach.
During the AMA, they will answer your questions about everything from how microgravity affects the human body to how astronauts’ food intake is closely monitored while on-orbit and how astronauts have a rigorous reconditioning program once they return from space.
