Shakespeare Theatre Company's play Othello, which stars Pakistani-American actor Faran Tahir as the lead, had its opening night in Washington DC on 29th February'16 at the Sidney Harman Hall and has received rave reviews from the American press including The Washington Post. "(Faran) Tahir performs an unsettlingly convincing rendition of Othello's epileptic fit, shaking as if 10,000 volts are coursing through his body. It's a wholesale collapse of Othello's nervous system we are witnessing." - Peter Marks (Theatre Critic, Washington Post)

The play is being showcased till 27th March'16.
