About the Shot: Amsterdam Spherical – #Amsterdam is one of my favorite cities in #Europe to visit because of the architecture. Its canal ring houses are iconic with some recognizable characteristics like being narrow with tall windows, pulleys to transport things to the upper floors and narrow staircases. I was skateboarding around the city and a set of homes and business caught my eye.

How the Shot was Captured: I grabbed my #HERO4Silver and set up a #timelapse with 0.5 interval shooting Protune On, ISO 400, #GoPro Color, WB 5500K, Sharpness Low, EV Comp 0. I then took the image into Adobe Photoshop which has image warping, blending and distortion features to be able to make the spherical image above. I like to take 2D image from my GoPro and experiment in different applications like #Photoshop to play tricks on the mind. Some helpful tips on making spherical images like this is try to shot subjects or building that have a mix of foreground and sky. Seeing a horizon line can help when you are distorting the image. It will take some trial and error but stick with it. #GoProTravel
