Today venom hunter Brian Barczyk (@snakebytes.tv) is taking over our Instagram to share his snake collecting experiences, facts and photography! Brian has had a fascination with all reptiles since childhood, but snakes have always been his real passion. He has over 25 years-experience breeding and working with dangerous animals such as Black Mambas, Gaboon Vipers, and the deadly Funnel Web Spider of Australia. "Red Belly Black snakes are one of my favorite Australian elapids and was the first venomous snake I ever caught in Australia almost 9 years ago. While working on this series it was a goal of ours to catch these amazing animals and this particular snake was curled up sunning on the side of a creek. While red Belly Black snakes are slightly more calm than a lot of Australian elapids, this one gave me a run for my money. All in a days work!"
