So much talk about Film what about TELEVISION? Latinos are killing the game in TV, and above, I am highlighting the 6 Latina women who are on television TONIGHT! In one night you can see 6 Latinas doing it up and making our community proud. Starting from top left, America Ferrera, a Honduran American Actress and activist. Eva Longoria, a Mexican American Actress and activist. Diana Maria Rivas, Dominican American Actress. Jaydn Douglas, Puerto Rican Actress. Andrea Navedo, a Puerto Rican Actress. Ivonne Coll, a Puerto Rican Actress. Catch Eva's show Telenovela on NBC at 8:30pm and America's show SUPERSTORE on NBC at 9pm. Jane the Virgin airs at 9pm on CW but isn't back till Monday Feb 22nd. Today, being the day after Valentine's Day, I thought I'd celebrate this wonderful day with wonderful women who make us laugh and cry every week! This isn't even including the Latinos who grace our tv tonight such as Jaime Camil, Amaury Nolasco, JenCarlos Cenela, Jose Moreno Brooks and the list continues. Again, this is only the Latinas who are on tonight (if I have missed one please add!), the rest of the week there are so many fantastic and talented Latino artists from Shades of Blue to The Flash and How to Get Away with Murder we are everywhere. It's such an incredible time of Diversity, or rather what the real world looks like, in Television. Highlight and champion an artist in your community to continue to uplift and empower those around you! #MovementMondays
