Thank you for everyone's support and positive messages. Butters will be getting his stitches off this Friday. The vet said if he is able to blink and lubricate his own eye then we don't have to take it out. However, she said in her experience the chance eye will need to be removed is high. His eye literally popped out of his face..when he first arrived at the emergency vet clinic ?. However Butters is a champ, even with one eye he still keeps an on the local kids playing outside. Sitting by the window watching kids play is his favorite thing to do.
