Just got home, I finally had time to sit back for a while and think about what happened in the past three days.
It’s really hard to find the right words to describe the emotions I felt… Skating in front of 10 thousand people who clap their hands in time with the music for the whole duration of the program and burst into cheers as soon as the exhibition finishes was truly unforgettable! We really felt the love and support of a whole city, gathered around us for this event. The public in Bratislava was one of the warmest of the last few years, and encouraged not only us but every single athlete on the rink!
Lukas and I return home happy, happy about our performances, the new personal best we achieved but above all the emotions we felt!
Thank you to everyone who worked for this European Championship; from the Slovakian federation, to ISU, to the many volunteers: the organization was excellent!
A special thank you to our coaches, who trained us to our best for this Championship, and to our families, friends and fans who supported and encouraged us!
