Happy Birthday, Ahn Jung-hwan! The former Korea Republic striker turns 40 today. After starting his professional career with K League side Busan Daewoo, Ahn also played for clubs in Italy, Japan, France, Germany and China PR. He made world headlines by scoring the golden goal against Italy that put South Korea through to the quarter-finals of the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Ahn was also selected for ‘The Reds’ in two more World Cups (2006 and 2010).
