Middleport Pottery, the UK’s last working Victorian pottery, was saved from closure by The Prince’s Regeneration Trust. Today, The Prince of Wales officially opened the last phase of the huge restoration project. The Prince of Wales Studios have been designed to accommodate a range of activities, including workspace for artists and craftspeople. BBC2 series The Great Pottery Throw Down was recently filmed at the Studios, and today HRH met those involved with the series, including presenter Sara Cox and judge Keith Brymer Jones.
