A homeless man brings a wheelchair into the inside space under a bridge or balcony in Central Park where he stays. I tried to communicate with him. Yet, it didn’t work. Even he showed me his fear. However, it was yesterday’s blizzard time. If he stayed there, he might have died. So, I asked police to evacuate him. I knew he wouldn't like to stay in a shelter. Many shelters in New York, like those in other parts of United States, are believed to be dangerous. Indeed, many homeless persons told me that they were violently attacked or stolen their belongings. But again, it was no choice probably except that. And, the real point is that we have now so many homeless people in New York, but not so many great shelters in terms of their own security, needles to say the lack of real affordable housing. #homeless #blizzard #manhattan #centralpark #newyrok #yesterdaygram
