Snapped this wefie with alumni of the Lembaga Biasiswa Kenangan Maulud (Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Memorial Scholarship Fund Board) scholarships last night. We were celebrating LBKM’s 50th anniversary.
The LBKM has done good work in the Malay/Muslim community, providing scholarships and bursaries to needy students. More than 15,000 students have benefited over the past 50 years.
I am glad that many Singaporeans from other races and religions have also donated to LBKM. For Singapore to do well, all of us have to continue to work together with and care for one another in our multi-racial and multi-religious society. – LHL (MCI Photo by Kenji Soon)
