Photographer Marko Drobnjakovic used his phone and @Instagram to chronicle the trek of migrants as they crossed the #Balkans seeking refuge from the war-torn #MiddleEast. From the end of 2014, he witnessed as what started as a trickle transformed into a full-on crisis. Last year, more than 1 million migrants crossed the #Mediterranean. Their treacherous journey begins on the shores of #Greece and ends in #Austria, taking about two to three weeks to cover over 1,300 miles.
