Heuer introduced its first Autavias with a white dial, black registers and blue accents in 1969, and the color scheme was soon identified with Swiss Formula One hero, Jo Siffert.  Siffert usually wore an automatic Autavia, but Heuer used the same “Siffert” colors on a full line-up of manual-wind chronographs, including this three-register manual-wind model, circa 1972.
