As 2015 comes to an end, we’re looking back at some of our favorite Weekend Hashtag Projects of the year. We featured Mike Gutkin’s (@mc_gutty) photo for #WHP?, our first emoji hashtag project that followed the landmark United States Supreme Court decision to legalize marriage for all.

Mike took this shot while walking in the New York City Gay Pride Parade, a scene he describes as electric and full of joy. “As I marched down Fifth Avenue, my eyes were drawn to every single person around me. Rainbow colors streaking across the participants and their floats were equal to the sea of rainbow colors in the onlooking crowds,” says Mike. “It was a triumphant and prideful moment in the heart of New York City with one of the most iconic buildings as the background.” Stay tuned for more #WHPlookbacks as we count down to 2016!
