"With no religious strings attached, we are our brothers and sisters keepers." My friend @martinschoeller is not only a great photographer, but a great person. Over the last ten months, he has photographed and interviewed nearly 200 people living in the streets of Hollywood and posting them on Instagram @martinschoeller. The subjects are clients of the Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition @gwhfc, a volunteer-run organization that has been serving a free hot meal every single night for the last 28 years to the homeless and hungry.

The area where they rent kitchen space and serve out of their food truck has become ground zero for real estate development in Hollywood. Without a permanent space, they are in danger of becoming homeless themselves. Martin and the GWHFC are trying to raise $200,000 by 12/31 to finance a downpayment on a permanent home. Not only to continue their great service, but expand it.
