Hawksbill turtles are an IUCN critically endangered species. Their numbers diminished by over harvest, bycatch, plastics and habitat loss. Rising sea levels will flood many vital nesting beaches. What can you do to help sea turtles ? Do not purchase tortoise shell items and do not use plastic bags that make their way to the sea and look like jellyfish that some sea turtle species eat.
