Photo by @shonephoto (Robbie Shone) - Following two days of bad weather with low cloud covering the mountain and constant snow fall, our window of opportunity arose and we got all the camping and caving equipment plus the expensive 3D laser scanning instrument on top of Conturines - Spitze. From a clearing close to the small Italian village known as San Cassiano, in the Dolomites, we slung a net below the heli and had it drop it right next to the cave entrance.
