"I am a big fan of the film “Fruitvale Station” so I jumped at the opportunity to photograph #MichaelBJordan and #RyanCoogler for their newest project “#Creed,” which comes out today. The shoot took place in a boxing training room and after the shoot Michael and Ryan took turns hitting the speed bag and I was amazed at how good they were. They hit the bag like professionals and attempted to teach me how but there was no way that in few minutes I was going to come close to doing it with the speed, rhythm, and precision they had developed over the course of making “Creed”. In those moments I could feel their commitment to making the boxing in “Creed” realistic and can’t wait to see how it all comes together in the movie."
