First off…Growing up in the 80’s was such a great time for things such as Music, Cars, Art, Culture and Fashion. Do you remember putting the thick laces on your shoes to show that you were a part of a culture such as B-Boys, Locking and Popping…or do you remember on how you would bleach your hair with peroxide and lemons to show that you went to the beach or participated as a surfer/skater. The times back then was such a great feeling of rebellion and camaraderie on how we did things as just a certain type of shirt or hat or shoe would put you in a category of what you do and what you are about as a person. We just wanted to give tribute to the ones that we believed help make this sub-culture so called streetwear as it stemmed from a movement of thinking different and being original.
