@swoonhq 37 hours left! Where getting there! Now, here’s what’s true of every big project I’ve ever been a part of — they could never, not in a million years, ever have happened without the support of my creative community. Ever since the first trip we took down the Mississippi River, as the Miss Rockaway Armada, this has been true — from the epic creativity that went into the building of those rafts, and the navigating of the river, to the community of creative colleagues, from Banksy, to Faile, to Steve Powers and so many others that rallied around to help us fundraise for that mad mission. This kind of rallying creative community was something I came to understand first through my short, sweet time with the Barnstormers, a completely legendary crew that David Ellis brought together in an attempt to unify his two worlds, one in rural North Carolina, and one in New York City. The power of artists dreaming together is a thing I never forgot, and I wanna say thanks to just a few of the artists who have come together around the dream of this church in North Braddock:
