Instagram is pretty much the only form of social media I use. Never used Twitter, tumblr, and my Facebook account is private/personal and I rarely use it only to interact with my close friends.
WHY have I chosen instagram? Because when this all started (for me, about 3.5 years ago), it was the FIRST positive/inspiring/interactive form of social media Id seen. I loved the idea of being able to post about things I love and kind of create my own personality outlay on my phone. Over the years some how this has turned into me being able to express my feelings, share my advice, explain my ideas and reach people in hundreds of different countries all over the world. REAL.
Lately the slandering over brand endorsement and promotion has made me realise the value behind social media and how much it influences us. I use Instagram to do so many things.. find clothes, labels, find new cafes, food that I want to create, places I want to travel to, find others that inspire/motivate me.. and of course I use it to portray the healthiest, Strongest and most positive image of myself I can. I'm so blessed to have such a huge support base and following and OF COURSE I'm going to make the absolute most of that. If that means getting behind brands that I LOVE and that I use in my daily life I'm going to do that. The marketing potential on here is probably one of the biggest over any form of social media. I would never take advantage of other people or push someone to buy a product that I don't personally use or recommend.. And i will always support people who support me.. including brands that align with me and what I like/enjoy. You can quite clearly see what is paid and what's not and the message behind everything is REAL. It's totally up to you the way you interpret a message and that's completely 100% fine. I love how much interaction we have through here and how many people I'm able to reach in such a positive light, it is so uplifting for me. (Read rest of caption in first comment below ⬇️)
