Part of following your heart and your passion is putting yourself out there for all to see and judge, but you won't grow, you won't find fulfillment if you're not willing to take that risk. Every mistake you make, failure you encounter, only makes you wiser, and (if you don't give up) tougher. One of my pet peeves is when people don't want to share their unique brilliance with the world because they're afraid of what others will think. It's really hard to deal with criticism, but learning how to digest it in a way that only helps you burn brighter is a valuable lesson. Don't take it personally, find the message in it that's actually helpful and take it, or if someone's just being an @ss, realize that's all about them, not at all about you, and leave it.
