Hey everypawdy. Just want to let you know I sent Kal to the vet this evening. I sat with him for a couple hours (till the clinic closed, really) just talking to him and scratching his neck and hanging out - hoping to make him feel a little more at ease. He will stay overnight and have his surgery after 2pm (Oct 27) and... this is just a heads up: Dr Geetha said if he doesn't make it, he goes on the operating table - but she promised to keep me abreast of any issues as soon and as best as she can.

Dr Geetha also very kindly allowed me to make payment after the surgery etc instead of collecting a deposit because of the situation... So please, I hope you consider contributing to Kal's medical bills and my transportation costs via PayPal to itsmyriot@gmail.com. No amount is too small, but if you can't donate, please spread the word and pray for Kal?
